Ducks appeared on a homeowners doorstep this morning.
Not to worry you guys. Sabrina is handling it.
Several families on middle Randlett experiencing problems with flickering lights and appliances acting strangely. Power strip smoking, dishwasher not functioning, etc. One family had already had someone out from the town last week and found an open neutral (very dangerous!) that needed to be fixed.
Many houses on the street are on different transformers. If your power went out yesterday in the late afternoon then you are on one of the transformers that is affected. Eversource was out to look at the problem and shut the transformer off for a while so he could do some work. I don’t know what their diagnosis was or what the follow up will be. We are not on that transformer but Eversource is coming to check out ours because we have had flickering lights and appliance issues as well. But ever source thinks that our problem at 142 is a low voltage issue.
Long story short, if your lights are flickering recently or some of your appliances are acting strangely, you may want to call Eversource and have them come out to check on things. Eversource: 800 592-2000
Think everybody knows Sal the mailman is retiring this year. Sal has been part of our neighborhood for 35+ years. He’s a legend you guys.
Bunker Street will be shut down on June 24th for a party in Sal’s honor. Pot luck. More details in the coming weeks but put this in your calendar and come over to say goodbye and thank you to Sal.
42 Grant St is a cute house.
House came on the market April 4th for $749k. Went under agreement on April 13th.
On April 26th, the house came back on market. Sometimes stuff happens and deals fall apart.
On April 28th, however, we have a situation.
Yes we do.
April 28th the listing is temporarily withdrawn/ comes back on market/ is withdrawn again.
Yesterday the house came back on the market and they’re calling for offers… by April 10th at 5pm.
Um you guys I just looked at a calendar and April 10th already happened. Buyers can’t travel back in time. How is this situation gonna get resolved?
I’ll keep you posted.
57 Cherry is a 3 bed/2 bath Cape with 1,610 sq/ft. Offers due Monday you guys.
136 Eliot is a 3 bed/2 bath/2 half home with 1,734 sq/ft. Been totally renovated in the past year. If the square footage seems low, it’s because the house hasn’t been measured since the renovations were completed. My guess is 2,000+ sq/ft you guys.
Per usual you guys it only took 1 weekend for this place to sell. Cute house with a nice backyard. New neighbors in July!
