The 1st Annual Snow Throw Challenge is in the books. Took me just under 5 hours to do sidewalks on both sides of the street. Thanks to Josh for gas and Andy for offering to bail me out if I got arrested for violating the driving ban. Thanks to Joe and Flip for helping with the snow. Leah — I should have taken you up on that beer….
People helping people — that’s what blizzards are about.
Dave, you are fantastic. Thank you for doing the sidewalks. As dog owners, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate being able to walk on the sidewalks!
After we finished shoveling our driveway, walkways and 2 roofs, we helped a neighbor with a stuck car and then I went across the street to start to shovel the walkway for our dear neighbor Greta. It’s times like these that not only do we appreciate your efforts, but as a community we should also attempt to help our elderly or ill neighbors. Greta was unable to even open her door with all the heavy snow. Before I could start on her driveway, Greta’s son-in-law and grandsons came by to finish my efforts.
Your tremendous efforts were *very* much appreciated — thank you!
